The Grouchy Pond

(pronounced grooshy in Newfoundland)

This Pond was dug and made in the summer of 2002 in Topsail/Paradise. The garden around it was also dug and planted having been scrubby looking conifers until the land was leveled to build the house.

The pond, which is approximately four feet square and three and a half feet deep, was stocked with goldfish and shubunkins from my pond. These fish bred freely in Tom's Pond  during the summer of 2003, we shall wait and see if any fry have survived into 2004.
