Here are some of the photos I took at the Annual Hebron
Re-union in London in March 2008
The first photograph is of all of our Class
Mates who showed up for the re-union.
I want to say A BIG THANK YOU to Tim Archer, not only for doing so much for the re-union, but
also for finally showing up for our Class Photo !
Below are a couple of photos of Kathy Mason
and son Zuben talking to Graham Griffiths. Then a photo of Miss Dorothy Wagland.
One of the tables set up in the Cafe
Namaste. Yes that is Mr Darling sitting there chatting.
The next photo is Tim Archer, Peter Skirrow
and Nala Sivarajasingham.
Our Host Lord Karan Bilamoria. He pays for
the entire event. So a Huge Thank You to Him !
Most of us should remember him from school
days...I think he was in William Hacking's
(Hacko's ) class,
Below is Kathy and her husband Robert.
Then a general shot of some of the crowd (
in one room...the rest were in the second room )
The crowd listening to the talk about the
school.
( do you recognize any faces ?)
Philip Sharp and Charles Durman and Kathy
Mason.....all three were children of Salvation Army Missionaries in India.
Peter Skirrow, Douglas Bennett, Sarah
Whitely ( Tyman ), Colonel Jean Bennett ( Doug's mother....Salvation Army also )
This was after we had all moved en-masse to Wetherspoons across the road.
I hope that some of the people in these
photos can provide me with a few more of this event.
It was a great day, some of us met at
Liverpool Street Station at 10 a.m. for coffee and then walked to the
event, and then went to Wetherspoons and then went to another Indian restaurant
afterwards before heading back to the railway station to go home at about
midnight !
I found myself awash with emotions as wave
after wave of memories, good and bad, suddenly presented themselves to
me.....from the sound of some voices, to events being recalled to tastes, sounds
and photos all being shared. It was an incredible event.
