Maher's Tank

This aquarium is a community tank housing various species of fish including; Zebra Danios, Pearl Gouramis, Siamese Fighting Fish, Harlequin Rasboras, Neon Tetras, Ottocinclus, and Fantail Guppies among others. It is well planted with live plants. Some of the Plant species found in this tank are ; Limnophila, valis, Hygrophila polysperma, water wisteria, Hydrocotyle and Java Fern.

This tank is set up in a private home, but it has a couple of drawbacks to it;

1. It is in a new subdivision and the tap water's chemical properties fluctuate wildly.

2. Although situated against and inside wall of the house the sunlight hits the aquarium in the afternoon causing a lot of algae to grow on all the surfaces.
